The highly talented singer wails his heart out on a magnificent Deep Soul ballad written and produced by his mentor Charles Spurling. ‘Fall In These Arms Of Mine’ by Johnny Soul on the flip is from the same stable but was recorded in the southern USA with Macon, Georgia-based producer Bobby Smith. It is very influenced by another son of Macon, Otis Redding – in the best possible way.
